This class is designed to give newcomers to the sport a smoother start. We will be looking at the terminology and key concepts for the most common positions in BJJ as well as the fundamental movements required for BJJ.


In BJJ fundamentals class we practice the foundations of the art, establishing a strong base from which we can develop further.

No Gi Training

NoGi is grappling without the traditional uniform, instead you wear shorts and a rash guard. In no gi you cannot grab your opponent’s clothing.

What is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?
